3 Ways to Fix a Saggy Swimsuit Bottom
1. The "Safety Pin & Tuck" (Temporary Fix)
If you’re at the beach and notice your suit is drooping, turn the garment inside out. Gather 1-2cm of excess fabric at the side seams (near the hip) and secure it with a small, stainless steel safety pin. This pulls the fabric taut across the seat without affecting the front view.
2. Tighten the Shoulder Straps
Often, "bottom sag" in a one-piece isn't caused by the seat being too big, but by the torso being too long. If your suit has adjustable straps, shortening them will pull the entire suit upward, smoothing out the excess fabric at the rear.

3. Add Elastic to the Leg Opening (Permanent Fix)
If you have basic sewing skills, you can thread a piece of 1/4-inch swimwear elastic through the existing hem of the leg opening. By slightly shortening the elastic, you create a "grip" that keeps the fabric against your skin, preventing the dreaded "water-weight" sag.
